How should Everyday Kolor™ be applied?
Simply by squeezing the patent applicator pen gently and using the tip of the pen to spread out the paint. Be generous when applying Everyday Kolor™, if applied too thin it will be difficult to peel off.FOR A STAINED GLASS EFFECT: outline your design with one color and allow it to dry for 5-10 minutes before filling in the remainder of your design.
What should I do if the applicator tip gets clogged?
Insert the point of a small opened paper clip into the tip.
What surfaces can I safely stick my Everyday Kolor™ Design on?
You can stick your Everyday Kolor™ Paint & Peel Design over and over again onto windows, mirrors and other glass surfaces, or any other non-porous surface i.e., the refrigerator and highly glazed tile.When you stick your Everyday Kolor™ Paint & Peel Design onto paper, metal, wood, wallboard and plexi-glass your design will be permanent!
Can I reposition my Paint & Peel Design?
Yes, as long as you stick your Paint & Peel Design onto a non-porous surface you can remove and reposition it over and over again and Everyday Kolor™ leaves no residue behind.
What happens when my Paint & Peel Design loses its stickiness?
Simply wipe the back of the Paint & Peel Design with a damp paper towel to renew its stickiness.
Can I use Everyday Kolor™ just like regular paint?
Yes, as long as you work on a horizontal surface (flat tabletop) Everyday Kolor ™ can be applied using a paintbrush, sponge or even your fingers onto paper, canvas, wood and clay.
Is there any way to speed up the drying time?
No, the ideal environment is one that is dry with no humidity. If you live in a humid climate it's best to let your painting dry in an air-conditioned room.
Please note that in very hot climates Everyday Kolor™ becomes softer and much sticker.
Is it usual to see the Paint & Peel design fade over a period of time?
Yes, Everyday Kolor™ is UV sensitive so the stronger the exposure to the sun the faster it fades.
What else can I do with Everyday Kolor™?
1. Everyday Kolor™ is soft and very pliable when dry and feels sort of like a Fruit Rollup® allowing it to conform to the shape of the object you are wrapping it around. For example, you can decorate an empty soup can, terra cotta pot, soda bottle or plastic container by wrapping a Paint & Peel design around it to create beautiful pencil holders, flower pots etc.2. You can cut dried Paint & Peels to create mosaics and then press the mosaics onto flowerpots, picture frames, plastic containers and bottles.
What shouldn't I be using Everyday Kolor™ for?
Do not use Everyday Kolor™ as fabric paint because it's water-soluble.
What about clean up?
Everyday Kolor™ is water-soluble and washes off of tables, floors and skin with soap and warm water. We recommend wearing a smock and placing a protective covering on the table before you start painting.
For Clothing: Be sure to wash paint out of clothing immediately, (before it dries) using a mild soap and warm water, otherwise it will permanently stain.
Everyday Kolor™ PERMANENTLY STAINS CARPETING so never use it in a carpeted area without a protective covering!!!
